A Review of Year 1
Hey Everyone,
Sorry it’s been so long since we’ve posted an update. To be honest, sometimes it’s hard to know what updates to give when it feels like your life has been on hold for a whole year. The house has been and will be under construction for quite some time as we work to get everything retrofitted & fully accessible for Kev.
Kev’s still in outpatient therapy twice a week, so we visit our good ol’ friends at Northridge Hospital quite often. Kev currently has a pressure sore, which basically means he’s on bed rest until it closes up, which could be weeks or months. He’s been on bed rest for about 1 ½ weeks which can get pretty discouraging.
We can’t believe it’s already been a year. It’s continued to feel very surreal. We’re not big fans of change & this year alone has probably been more change than we’ve experienced our lifetimes put together.
We put together a video of what the last year has entailed to give you a glimpse of what life looks like as a paraplegic.

We’re still praying for a miracle & are sure hoping that’s Jesus’ plan, but we’ll see where He continues to take us.
Thanks again for your continued love, prayer & support, it truly means a ton to us both!
Love, Kev & Tiff

I’m insanely encouraged by the amazing faith you have despite incredibly tough conditions. I’ve only known Kevin during this stage, so, I can only say that with great confidence your lives are both an inspiration to those of us who lack faith and thankfulness in our own lives.
Always praying for a miracle, but praying more that peoples lives continuously get changed by your story, for the better, and for the Kingdom.

Kevin, thanks for posting the video. It was nice to see you at Cornerstone SCV a few weeks back. Let me know if you want to do some geeky web-dev stuff sometime.

Dear Kev & Tiff,
Your Mother, Sherry and I are very proud of your hard work, determination, and faith. Our thanks go out to all the doctors, family, friends and members of your church that have helped your recovery along during this past difficult year! We are also blessed by Tiffany’s strength, faith and continued support. We continue to pray for a miracle as well and hope that it will happen!
Love & God Bless,
Dad

Thank you so much for posting this video. I have been thinking alot about you guys as the 1 year anniversary of the accident has passed, so getting this update is a real blessing. Kevin your Faith, success and courage that I see through this video has brought me to tears. And Tiff you are a real testimony of God’s unconditional love. Thank you both for those great examples to Kimmie and I.

What an amazing and encouraging video. You are both a huge inspiration to me. Kevin, you seem to be blessed with such strong will and determination, and Tiff you are such a huge loving support. Again so encouraging to see. I will continue to lift you both in prayer.
