About this Blog
On the morning of Friday, July 3, while cycling in the SCV with friends, Kevin was struck by a fast-moving vehicle. He was airlifted by helicopter for attention to his multiple injuries, including damage to his spine. This blog is for Kevin's family, friends, and colleagues, who are all praying for him and rallying to his side during this time of trial. Please watch this site for upcoming information on how you can help Kevin recover.

Hi Kevin,
You don’t know me but I am a friend of the Gentry’s and I have been praying for you since the first day! I walked through my son being on I.V. antibiotics for three months and he got off them on his 15th birthday. (Now he is 29) I have been caring for my mother who is in a wheelchair for 10 years. Both those things have made it possible for me to pray with a little understanding. Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday and I hope all continues to go well for you. I know God has good things in store for you. Don’t lose hope. Psalm 31:24

Just got off the phone with the nurse’s station, and apparently the hospital staff isn’t down with me jumping out of a cake for your b-day. Something about liability, risk of bodily injury, indecent exposure, blah blah blah…
