Kevin took time out of his rehab work to share his thoughts on recovery and all the great support he’s gotten from all of you out there!

About this Blog
On the morning of Friday, July 3, while cycling in the SCV with friends, Kevin was struck by a fast-moving vehicle. He was airlifted by helicopter for attention to his multiple injuries, including damage to his spine. This blog is for Kevin's family, friends, and colleagues, who are all praying for him and rallying to his side during this time of trial. Please watch this site for upcoming information on how you can help Kevin recover.

Thank you so much for posting this video so those of us who can’t be there can at least get to hear Kevin’s voice and see his face. Kevin, you look good and sound great! I’ve got people praying all over for you and am so grateful for this technology that allows us to come together. When one part of the body hurts, the whole body hurts. Praying for you and Tiffany.
BTW, I know I’ve posted several times ASSUMING you know who I am… I’m Mandy Ruffner’s mom. We’ve met and I’ve been to Copperhill bunches of times and love the fellowship and community of this church. Am so grateful for that community that has been able to surround you. Blessings to you all.

Our Lord is Good.
It is so great to see you Kevin and hear your voice, I am very very happy to see you talking to us and sharing moments of this journey you are going through now. This journey by the Grace of the Lord will be history later on. As you know now that everyone who knows you or do not know you praying for you for a complete recovery and our Lord who saved you from this accident and kept you alive will give you also more than what is expected, a healing beyond any imagination. Kevin you became like a light among us, and we cherish this light . Keep up the good work , you are great. May the hands of our Lord Jesus be upon you always and bring you healing and speedy recovery from every injury. We pray for Tiffany , that the Lord may give her the support and the help and the rest she needs. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN

It is AMAZING to see how far you have come in such little time! God is so good!!! You are in our constant prayers and it is just awesome to see the Lord working through you and Tiffany! Just wanted to send some encouragement your way…you look great!

Wow… I smiled and I cried as I watched Kevin’s strength. Kevin, you ROK!! You are in the middle of one of the most effective testimonies the Christian community will witness firsthand. This is our FAITH in Christ in ACTION. You are “walking the talk”. I know you have down days and your faith may not ride high sometimes, but your anchor is holding… and it is obvious Christ is giving you supernatural strength in this season. I believe many “luke-warm” believers will be shaken awake by the way you are walking out this season of life. I am very proud to link myself to the man of courage and a faith of substance that is being displayed in your recovery room.

Dear Kevin and Tiffany, Thank you so much for opening your lives and sharing this video. For those of us who love you, but don’t want to overwhelm you with more “visits”, this gave us the peace to see your incredible recovery. Kevin, I am so proud of you, you are an amazing man! What a great video! It is so good to see Kevin and hear his voice! It is amazing how far he has come in two weeks. What an awesome family you have! We will continue to pray for you as you heal and grow stronger.

Dear Kevin and Tiffany
Our family read about your newest journey, and from experience, GOD will take you through it!
Tifffany, to you, I am a caregiver to our paraplegic daughter, who went through rehab at Northridge 20 years ago. If I can be of any support/knowledge as you begin a journey of a caregiver please let me know.
Kevin, to you, stay in the moment with God and work on your strength.
Your entire family will be in our prayers and friends in Christ!
Just to let you know our daughter still is teaching children at our church.

Thanks so much for posting this video. It is great to still feel connected to you when we can’t always be there. We are so amazed and blessed by how far you have come. I know you have ups and downs but stay strong. We are so thankful for your love for Christ, we know He has great plans for you and you are not still here by luck(Jer. 29:11)

Wow Kev, that was cool to hear your voice and get an update via video. I have been wanting to come down and am planning on coming down Monday or Tuesday. I hope that is okay. I was coming down last week and then I heard you had stuff going on that day so I did not come. Amy and Brent have been keeping me updated. I have put a prayer request out via a podcast called Daily Audio Bible. They have listeners all around the world and they are praying for you Kev. I think you would dig this podcast where they read through the one year Bible. I will tell you about it when I come down. Love you guys and am praying everyday.

Thank you so much Kevin & Tiffany for posting this. I sit here in happy tears, to see what God is doing to you and through you. He is using this situation to bring His flock closer to Him. You are loved & being prayed for all over this nation, some don’t know who you are, but know that you are man of God, and they are rallying around you & Tiffany, believing in complete healing and health. Kevin, keep fighting the good fight.
You are in our thoughts and prayers, you will get through this, stronger and closer to our Father than you ever thought possible.

Kev – You’re lookin good, dude! Keep up the hard work with rehab…I am sure they are workin ya! I miss you at the office – so much. I look forward to seeing you soon. I continue to keep you in my thoughts and wish the best for you and Tiffany through this trying time. I know you have a ton of support already but, if there is anything I can do, please – never hesitate, ok?!?
