Mather’s Note
Kevin and Tiffany wanted to thank the many volunteers who helped move out their furniture this weekend so their new carpet and flooring could be installed soon. It is a huge blessing to them and they feel very blessed that they are being cared for by everyone.
Please continue to pray for Kevin’s infected leg that it would heal and that they doctor’s would know which medicine would best fight the infection. Kevin’s white blood count is down which is a good sign and the swelling looks like it is going down, but it still continues to be a concern. The doctors are going to decide in the next couple days whether surgery is needed to clean out the infection. Please pray that this will not be needed as it would set back Kevin’s recovery process.

On the morning of Friday, July 3, while cycling in the SCV with friends, Kevin was struck by a fast-moving vehicle. He was airlifted by helicopter for attention to his multiple injuries, including damage to his spine. This blog is for Kevin's family, friends, and colleagues, who are all praying for him and rallying to his side during this time of trial. Please watch this site for upcoming information on how you can help Kevin recover.

Kevin and Tiffany, I know this blog is meant to be an encouragement to you, but don’t underestimate the encouragement others are receiving due to seeing your trusting hearts. I know God can use you both mightily during this trial and believe He already has. God bless, I am praying.

Dear Kevin and Tiffany,
I have been praying especially concerning the infection and am glad to hear that the swelling and white blood count is down. As you know God is able to knock out all infection and I am praying that nothing will come in to slow down his recovery.

Lord you are in control of this situation and you arrange all things according to your time and will. Thank you Lord for you are our Living God, our savior and our refuge.. We come to you today again and again asking you Lord our heavenly father to continue healing Kevin from all his infections and injuries and give him the strength to complete his physical thearapy and lift up his spirit high to that great hope and confidence that recovery on the way .
