Kevin’s Progress
As Kevin begins another week he has been very encouraged by a multitude of visitors and the generosity of all those who have brought meals and donated in different ways. His rehabilitation is progressing at a good rate and his therapists are very happy with how he is doing despite some setbacks ie. infection and broken scapula. He is transferring from his bed to wheelchair and shower with little to no assistance. The last couple of days he has suffered some pain in his back. Please be in prayer for continued healing in his back and that he will know whether the pain is muscle pain from rehab or something that needs to be treated. The puncture in his leg has closed about a 1/2 of cm which hopefully is an indication that it is healing. He has been on quite a few antibiotics for his infection and he began to show some abnormal liver function so they are trying to narrow down which antibiotic might be causing this. Please pray for healthy liver function as they will be testing for this in the next couple of days. Again Kevin and Tiffany covet your prayers and thank everyone for all the support they have received.

On the morning of Friday, July 3, while cycling in the SCV with friends, Kevin was struck by a fast-moving vehicle. He was airlifted by helicopter for attention to his multiple injuries, including damage to his spine. This blog is for Kevin's family, friends, and colleagues, who are all praying for him and rallying to his side during this time of trial. Our Lord and Father we thank you for the healing you have provided for Kevin, we ask that you continue to lay your healing hands on him Lord. Please strengthen, comfort, heal him physically as well as emotionally.
Please Lord give his therapists wisdom and compassion as they care for him and give them guidance with which plan to go with. Lord give his doctors the knowledge to choose his medications and antibiotics carefully without any side effects and send all the medication swiftly through his body and heal it.
Our Heavenly Father, let Kevin and Tiffany know how much you care for both of them and that YOU are with them and their families all the way.
We thank you Lord for intervening with Kevin’s and Tifanny’s lives and their needs, please Lord continue to lift them up and fill their hearts with your divine joy and happiness .
Thank you Lord for this report and how Kevin has progressed, please Lord continue to be with him day by day during the therapy and the healing process and give him new strength each day. Lord we ask in your precious name (Jesus) that your hands go over his body and remove , ease , release and remove all infections and ailments especially in the liver and the feeling in the lower body and restore all his movements . YOU ARE ABLE LORD . We give you praise and glory Lord and we ask in your precious name our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ , Amen and Amen.

I visited with Kevin and Tiffany on Wednesday night. He was in his chair on his computer. Even through he still has some medical issues he is dealing with, his inner strength is evident along with Tiffany’s. Considering that 27 days ago he was in critical condition in ICU and now he is moving around in a wheel chair, has use of his upper body, his lacerations on his head are healing, he can talk with his quick witted sense of humor is truly the work of our father God. His mother and I are truly blessed to have Tiffany, Janice, Greg and their family to be their for him along with us. Our thanks to the incredible family and friends including the Copperhill Community Church. We thank you all for the meals, donations, visits and prayers for Kevin and Tiffany. God Bless all of you.

Hi Kevin and Tiffany, Cathy and I just want you guys to know that we are always in prayer for you. Kevin I know what you are going through, but stay strong and trust in the our Lord Jesus Christ, He always by your side. I know you will make it through rehab, because you have a good attitude and a good spirit. I know you’re in good hands with the Northridge hospital therapists and they will treat you right and if they give you any problems just let me know and because they don’t want me to come down there and put my only foot down!!! (lol)
