Answers to Prayer

We just wanted to again say thank you for the continued prayer and support.  Today was another good day, Kev has had more energy the past 2 days and has been able to complete more activities in therapy.  He is not having quite as much pain in his shoulder but is still unable to do much weight-bearing exercise.  The puncture wound appears to be getting better, however he is still on several antibiotics daily to keep the infection under control.  The large lump underneath his knee ended up being a mass of fluid which the doctor was able to drain (very gross), so that was a huge answer to prayer.  Also, the redness in his foot has been steadily decreasing over the past few days and it currently appears to be completely gone!    Prayer requests are basically the same – continued healing of Kev’s right shoulder, left ankle, left knee (puncture wound/infection),  the return of feeling and movement to his lower body, strength and endurance for Kev to make it through each day of rehab.

Thanks again,   Kev & Tiff

    Kevin and Tiffany,
You are always in my prayers, and the Lord wants us to pray continuously without ceasing. We thank the Lord for his wonderful promises, his commands and his love. Let us pray:
Thank you Lord for Kevins healing, for your provision and for the peace and joy you give Kevin and Tiffany in the midst of these circustances. Please Lord we ask you to continue your healing on Kevins body and touch his right shoulder , the left ankle and the left knee and take away every pain he experiences during the physical thearapy . Lord we ask you to restore his feeling in his lower body and remove every hardship and give him the strength and endurance to perform his exercises every day. Lord touch his legs and make them strong. Lord we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the miracles you have done so far to Kevin and for the miracles on the way, and we are happy to hear he is doing better. Our God, is an awesom God and worthy of our praise. Glory be to your name Lord.. We ask in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen

Hey Kevin, been on vacation here in Wisconsin the last 2 weeks, but I’m checking the blog whenever I can. The “internet” is you know, like pretty new here….
Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing you when I get back, and we can kick it old school.

You are both on my heart continually and I rejoice at this good news! Even though I have faith in our great and powerful God, I find that I need the encouragement of specific answered prayers to keep increasing my faith to intercede. So thank you for posting this update and for modeling such a wonderful attitude of hope and trust – you have both inspired me. I love you SO much!
